Seamaster caseback medallion with "bubbles and blued" (sic)?

This odd eBay listing which just went up caught my eye, and I was wondering if anyone here had seen something like it before and could maybe shed some light on what I'm looking at.

The listing claims a "screw-back case with 'Seahorse' Seamaster medallion with Bubbles and Blued. This is a very RARE Case-back that OMEGA did to select watches"

Most of the rest of the description reads as obviously LLM-generated so I'm hardly taking it as face-value, but what exactly is going on with the caseback here?

Seamaster Jacuzzi edition?

Looks cool with the bluing. Too bad about the bubbles.

What does the dial look like? Case looks really shiny.

It just looks like the normal purple snot that comes with them when they're new, its a wax layer meant to protect the medallion from wear and damage in transit as the bracelet can rub against it, usually its removed or wears off but sometimes you find it on a watch still. It comes off quite easily.

Other examples are here:

I think it's actually a pretty attractive watch.

Wow good call, thank you. I'd seen posts about the purple snot before but didn't put it together with the strange listing description. If it is in fact an indication of NOS condition (at least of the caseback) I'm surprised a seller would miss the opportunity to advertise it as such.

They were too busy cooking up a bullshit story about "extremely rare blue bubbles" edition.

People feel the need to come up with excuses or explanations but don't have an actual idea, or they ask an LLM and get nonsense that they repost, it definitely happens a lot
