This is a 15$ flea market find (sadly not my find), I consider the dial original

Sorry to ask, are you referring to my OP or the photos kust posted by tdn-dk?

The watch in your original posting.

I looked at the listing on ch24 and nothing I see would make me think the dial is anything but original. Taken as a whole, the condition of the case, movement and dial all match and look correct and original.

So, how amazing I just found out this same watch was listed on eBay and can see the condition it was in before the new seller gave it a good clean, new strap and crystal and service.

Here are the photos from the listing.
Shame the old crystal was so bad that we can't see the dial in better detail, unless some of you with those eagle eyes can spot anything.

Some inzooming

Hmmm... Yes, could be original, but is it the picture quality or is the connection between the "a" and the "m" in Seamaster on the black one a little low/weird on the "m"? Also the S has sharp endings on the white dial, but the black dial S looks a bit "painted" i.e. curved endings on the S? Either way, a though one.
