Your opinion on a vintage Omega chronograph

hi guys!
I need your help and advice regarding the purchase of an Omega chronograph, allegedly from 1947, in yellow gold, 35mm. The watch is said to have been freshly serviced and is priced at around 8,000 euros. My initial impression was that the plexiglass, pushers, and crown have been replaced, and that the service may not have been done thoroughly, as evidenced by the regulator being shifted far to the right.

I would greatly appreciate your esteemed opinions and any other observations you might have based on the photos. Many, many thanks!

It is claimed that all parts are original and the dial is untouched.

Original? Maybe. Untouched? No way.

Language like that from a seller raises doubts in my mind. I have no idea if the price is good or not. So, how big of a gambler are you?

Thank you for your opinions! In the meantime, the seller has admitted that the crown might not actually be from the 1940s... I don’t understand how one can claim the watch is in its original condition anyway. How could anyone know, for example, what a watchmaker might have done to the dial of an old watch in the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s,...? Well, this probably means the watch isn’t an option for me, which is a shame because I haven’t found many vintage Omega chronographs with those lugs that I like so much.

Price aside - I don't think anyone here would pass up a nice, uncommon, watch if it was genuine apart from a crown.
Crowns can be sourced and exchanged later but finding another watch that you like, in that style, might be a lifetime's task.

It looks like a lovely watch. I think it might be difficult to find another good example if you are looking for this specific model.
For me, personally, it boils down to the price and to some degree to the reputation of the seller. To my untrained eye the dial seems original and not altered. For the watch of this age it is very attractive to me. If you buy the watch, you will most probably need service of the movement (look at the regulator).

A very interesting watch!
The early chronographs are getting more and more intriguing I think.
