Seamaster 600 dial, reference and metal help needed

Hi all, would appreciate your opinions on some issues with this watch:

1. This Seamaster 600 dial looks incredibly fresh for a 1960's watch. Does it look suspicious to you? Is it a refurbished dial? If so, how did they get the fonts so perfect?

2. Does anybody know the reference number for this model?

3. Is it supposed to be solid gold (unlikely for this model, according to what I have read in this forum), gold-filled or gold-plated?

Thank you for your insights and opinions 😀

The SS back suggests the case is gold-filled or gold-plated. In my experience, solid gold Omegas (and most watches, actually) usually have gold case-backs as well.

The watch looks like a totally overpolished ref. 136.011 with a refinished dial. I think it has been equipped with a non matching caseback. The crown is most likely a replacement.

I hope you're not intending to buy this watch?

Edit: I just found this one on ebay with a similar dial / hand configuration that looks much more correct:

Over-polished piece of shit!

Polished to death and replated to make it look shiny.

This is what those lugs should look like.

yea I usually don't like to come down too hard on a beginner's posted watch but I gotta agree with my two quoted fellow members. that thing looks like a bondo-ed up NYC taxi cab.

I know what @X350 XJR would say and tried to be a little more polite. But then he came with his reply and there's nothing more to say...

Might be irrelevant if you've decided against the watch - but possibly ask to check for a stamp between the lugs to indicate 40 micron gold plating? Looks to be plated from what I can see.
