Seamaster 300 or Aqua Terra?

Ended up buying a planet ocean and a aqua terra. Seems like the best way to solve this is to get both.
I’m a fan of the smpC and the 8500AT

I am not a fan at all of the 300MC. The 21mm lugs, the bezel seems huge. Dial and bezel looks like a saucer plate in a wrist for some reason.
Agree. The more I look at the 300MC, the more I like the trilogy 300. The smaller bezel just seems so much more aesthetic.

Hmm.. The Seamaster looks good with the mesh..

Been thinking about using my tax return to boost my savings to purchase a new watch. Debating between the new seamster 300 and an aqua terra (blue dial). Any suggestions?
I've owned an AT 8500 master coaxial in blue for several months. If I could own one watch; this would be it. i wear it almost every day.. Here's a few pics..

I have both. And it depends.

If I was only allowed to own one watch, it would be the blue AT.

I am actually selling the SM300, as I find the braclet clasp too thick for my liking. Plus, i haveha modern ploprof and that is my goto watch for vacation.

Ah yes, you've got the AT with vertical teak and polished date window frame which I particularly like.

What can I add owning neither of the variants: go and try them on I think. That particular Seamaster is too plain for my taste at this distance so I don't give it a second glance but I might see it on the shop counter and feel quite differently.

That is a pretty good tax return. I had to pay 🙁

Pics?

You should also add a few speedmaster watches to your collection.

Pictures coming soon, along with my new SM60.
I've never liked speedmaster and any other chronograph for some reason.

I mean who needs a savings account, right?

I’m never a fan of Speedmaster or any other chronograph for some reason.
Maybe I should start a James Bond collection...

If you've already got a diver, definitely get the AT. Such a great watch. I now own two, though one is headed for the chopping block soon.

Please don't make me pick one over the other; that would be like saying you can only have one, cake or peaches... it's possible but why?

I prefer the 300sm but maybe the other is more versatile

Yep. That's the only thing I really miss now that Iv'e an aqua terra instead. Other than that--it's great.

Yeah, decide which of the two you are more likely to enjoy wearing and get the use of. FWIW I wear Seamasters and treat my ATs as dress watches.
