·Hi all,
I recently acquired an old Seamaster 200M and I'm very pleased with it.
I have some questions though, that I hope that some of you might help out with.
In my quest of purchasing the watch, I wen't through multiple articles and listings to find the correct one, but there is one question that still eludes me regarding the "bezel dot".
As I could conclude online it seemed that there where different version of the Seamaster 200M made, and it seems that the dot is also one of the details that changes from model to model?
I have seen yellowish/brass dots, and white dots - no pertruding dots, as these seem to belong to never models of the seamster (300M).
The one that I have bought has a dot similar to the one in the first picture below - seemingly with no luminescence.
My question being, has my watch lost the original bezel dot insert or is this standard, and furthermore is it possible to aquire a new replcement dot?
Another thing is that the bracelet has been adjusted so it has uneven links on either side og the buckle (2 extra on one side). I(my OCD) would like to adjust this so there is an even amount of links on both sides.
Will it be possible for me to adjust this by myself, or would I need to much specialized tools or should I give it to a specialist?
I hope there is someone in here who can help answer my questions, and that they are not too stupid - I'm new to this whole watch thing.
