Seamaster 105.005: How does this look?

Am I wrong in thinking that the chrono hand is "off" here (looks too short)? I was seriously considering this one (pretty local to me) but that gave me pause. Almose looks like the tip broke off. Thoughts?

if you're referring to the center minute hand, I see it as a reflection, not a broken hand, which is confirmed by zooming in on the second picture.

I was referring to the central chronograph hand. In most photos of this reference they seem to reach the outer edge of the dial in length.

It looks fine to me, hard to pin down the exact angle which can alter the appearance of length slightly but it looks the right length. A lot of money though that’s for sure, I bought a better one than that a few years ago for $2,500 at auction.

That’s a great price, particularly if you got it in great condition. I usually see these trading in nice shape between $3500-$4200. I still believe they’re severely undervalued.

Yeah, definitely going to pass on this one. Seems like this is incredibly overpriced for what it is.

FWIW the central chronograph hand appears to reach the tachymeter track perfectly. Possibly bent slightly (old watchmaker trick to ensure the tip doesn't foul on the crystal) but that hand appears fine to me.

No comment on the pricing. It is a 321 movement, if that is significant to you.

Honestly what keeps me coming back to this watch are two things, the dial (looks the best out of any other example I have seen so far, and the fact that I can see it in person.

I think I see what you're saying but I can't go back now and compare as the original listing is down now.
