Hi OF,

I’m still new to the world of Omega watches and wanted to get your take on this watch here:

I understand that the photos aren’t very good, but wanted to get your take on whether or not it’s worth the risk, based on such little info.

I’ve never seen a red seconds hand before either.

Also, just noticed that the seconds hand might not be red(?). It’s hard for me to tell.

For the price, you can get much better. Are you looking for a project watch? Date function appears to have some issues along with the seconds hand.
Why not look here? More safe. Better prices.

It looks like the hour markers are all over the place. The red seconds hand is actually cool. I've seen it on a few Omega watches before.

I don't think the sweep hand is red, my feeling is that it's a reflection.

I also do not like the fact that the time of the watch indicate a clear "date" and the "date" indicator it's in the middle so I suspect the the mechanism of changing the date do not work properly 100%.

Problems abound. The markers look damaged. I also think the second hand has been replaced. The watch clearly needs a service. As @redpcar said above: This is a project watch. Without a project watch price tag.
