Sapphire Crystal for Watcho SM300?

Hi, i have a Watchco SM300 that I purchased about 10 years ago and it’s time for a movement service. One thing that would make this watch perfect in my eyes would be for it to have a domed sapphire crystal rather than the current acrylic. I understand to some this is heresy but anyone know if there is a domed sapphire crystal that would work? Omega uses some great domed sapphire crystals on the heritage 300’s but I dont assume those would work.

Good luck with that! There was never an original sapphire for the 024 case so I think you are going to struggle unless you are prepared to be a fitment guinea pig.

As much as I love sapphire crystal, this isn't something I would do. But, with the right laser imaging system and cnc machine I bet you could do it!

I wish some more of my watches had acrylic crystals. Sapphire is pretty, shiny, bright, crystal clear, and certainly tough enough but there's just something about acrylic that does it for me on some watches. Some watches need it, you know? It just works. Good luck if you proceed.
