Rumours of a new PO due this month

My AD says he has seen the new POs. He could only say there are six new models. Black blue and orange on bracelet and strap. Also the price is around 10k euro. Something sitting in between the current PO and the Ultra Deep. Couldn't tell me anything else.
It sure sounds like those Reddit leaks were accurate.

For what it's worth, I visited my local OB last week and was told the new line of OP will be released on November 19.

10k euro is a wild price increase, and it'll probably be even more expensive in the US due to the tariffs. Given that it's probably going to be at least 15mm, and O-Megasteel, that pricing still seems very, very aggressive unless there are other things being brought to the table.

Also, losing the asymmetrical case for dinky crown guards, and ditching the white/orange combo are both further missteps, IMO. Starting to think that the Planet Ocean peaked with the 2500-calibre Liquidmetal Limited Edition.

I have a feeling that these new PO versions will come in addition to the existing ones with date. Similar what they did with 300m and date/ceramic bezel and no date/al bezel versions. They will of course be thinner for at least 1 mm (no date disk + metal case back). In case they will use 88XX caliber instead of 89XX, than maybe even 1,7mm thinner. If they reduce the water resistance to 300m, it could be even further thinner, down to 13mm (what no time to die has). Let’s see with what they will come. But if the Reddit photo is real, I’m disappointed about lost of asymmetrical case and the whole satin finished bracelet

New PO will have an integrated bracelet. Can’t wait seeing it….

I will withhold judgement until I get to actually see/hold the new releases, but I'll be pretty disappointed if those are the extent of the color way changes (though of course more will come), if it has an integrated bracelet, and if is truly that much of a price increase. Will be interesting to see if there is any type of HE capability. I would think the mockups are likely wrong or not detailed enough, or they've recessed it. In any case, any and all of those things combined...I likely won't be running out to pick one of these up. It's all speculative until its here regardless.

Has the Insta teasing commenced;

Will be tough to beat the creamsicle if they are starting with orange.

they normally post these types of teaser 1 day before the launch of whatever they're teasing. so we should know tomorrow what it all means

If they are actually ditching the He valve crown it would be interesting to see if they are He-proof (like the Ultra Deep) or if they (finally) opted for the automatic valve....

Expect tomorrows update to be all black, then a Thursday blue until next week (how many colours we expecting 🤣)

I mean orange is the default accent color of the Planet Ocean line since 2012. So it's weird to post just a solid block of orange and call it a teaser, but it's on-brand in that sense.

Frankly, as a teaser is pretty poor. It could literally be anything.

Don't forget the 10k Euro price already includes 8.1% VAT, so the US display price is really ~$10,500 USD. I am not even remotely surprised by this considering how many PO models are already over $10k USD. This is basically a 2-3% increase which is normal.

Considering the baseline tariff rate was only 2-3% before this year, if they do drop down to 15% it's still a pretty hefty increase from a year ago that has to be paid for somehow, and it's going to be us paying.

I received an invitation to a OB event on 18th November with the name “The Ocean Opens New Horizons “. Could be a new dive watch. I love the AT with turquoise dial btw.
