The Everest will fit the 2500 but when strapped to your wrist it pulls away from the case creating a gap. No really a good look imo.

Yeah, I ended up pulling the trigger on an Everest for the 40mm Yachtmaster and it didn't fit at all. I mean it fit between the lugs but it didn't integrate into the case. I should have tried it with a RubberB model because those seem to have more material over the caseback. The Everest model hardly has any which leads me to believe it must integrate into the Submariner case based on some lip on the case near the bezel to prevent it from completely turning over.

Curious to bump this thread in case there's anyone who can help confirm..

I can confirm that the RubberB tang strap for the 16570 / 40mm Explorer II fits the 2254, 2538, 2220.80 series of the SMP perfectly. No wiggle or gaps at all.

However, I have a PO2500 (POLMLE) that I tried fitting it to, and it fits... but only about 95%. Spring bars click in without any coaxing actually, but the fit against the case leaves about 0.5mm gap - so the strap can wiggle a tiny bit.

So I was wondering if anyone has successfully tried installing the RubberB tang strap for Yachtmaster 40mm on a PO2500? Based on the first set of photos on the TinTin, I can see a tiny gap from the top side.

Alternatively, would the RubberB for the 40mm Sea-Dweller be more likely to fit since it has what I imagine is the same profile case but slightly thicker? I don't have much experience with Rolex so it's a bit of a guessing game here... Thanks!

I'm curious...do you think the 16570 RubberB strap fit better on the 2500 PO than the RubberB on the Tintin seen in this thread? Or was the gap about the same?
