Wondering if anyone has seen this rounded red UG box before, and if so, with what UG pieces (and years if known). I haven't seen this box elsewhere, but given the logo I think it would date to ~1966/67. Right now I am assuming these (and other) boxes were not tied to a specific reference (during this period), but may have been selected to any particular watch from a few different options that the retailer would have had on hand. Hoping to find some other examples of original boxes + watches. Thanks-

I think your working assumption that clients just chose from the limited selection of boxes that the retailer had to hand is a good one. Having said that, there are a handful of different Polerouter boxes with Polerouter branding to the exterior. I have the same box as you but with the earlier logo, which presumably dates from anywhere between the late 1950s and 1965. I agree with your dating of your box.
