OMGRLX
ยทHere we have a Rolex Tudor Submariner ref. 7016 (7016/0), from 1968. Serial Number 6248XX.
All original, the small rose dial still here (most period 7016 have the later/service replacement shield dial instead), with the gorgeous big lollipop seconds hand.
Has the unique, rare, transitional, semi-pcg case.
Kissing 40 insert. All of it beautifully aged and patinated. (At least in my opinion-patina is indeed in the eye of the beholder.)
Runs, works, Tudor ETA movement ref. 2483 keeps good time. Unknown last service. I've now had him for approx 4 years. I've worn him for months at a time with no problems-looks good, keeps good time.
It comes with one small issue-needs a new case clamp screw (when you unscrew the crown to set the time, you can notice the dial/movement shifting a teeny bit-doesn't affect function or looks of the watch at all).
Only watch head included in sale-no strap/band or accessories. Shipped FedEx or UPS.
Asking 10k USD OBO.
