Help with this vintage Tudor Submariner 7016/0

Hi OF,

Have been offered this vintage tudor submariner. serial on case dates to 1968 or 1969, can anyone help with originality?

Case is a bit polished but as far as I can tell is okay, the serial number and model number are good, caseback is good. The seller is unsure if the dial & hands are original or not, thinks that they might be later replacements. I'm not familiar enough with vintage tudor to tell, but it seems to be very similar to original 1968 snowflake models to me?

Bezel numbers seem a little off, but not too concerned there (can get a correct bezel fairly easily).

Need better photos - while I think the watch is OK, the photos are horrible.

Thanks for that!

Yeah the seller is saying this is the best resolution they can get... so it's proving a bit of a struggle.

Akshually, no ; )

I am pretty capable of blowing up images, blowing up poor images simply makes larger, poor images.

You want movement photos, engraving photos, crown photos, side lugs, caseback, etc.

Haha good point - I didn't end up going with it, but thanks for the brief commentary anyway!

What do we think of this snowie, kind folks of the forum? I can get pictures of the side lugs and crown etc as well.
