i bought these recently, movements in lucite that were used by Rolex for marketing.

One is mechanical and the other two are battery - and they have stopped. My question is does anyone know how to open them? Does anyone have experience?

I am thinking the plate on the back might pull off?

Any body opened one of these up?

Wow, they look fantastic!!! This is an amazing find. Can't really tell from the pictures but looks like the center piece can be push out with movement if crown is removed. 馃摉馃摉

I don't know much about Rolex's but are these the first Rolex display backs?

I wonder if the crown/stem has to come off first, and then the backs are removed using suction?

No obvious edges and I'd assume these are meant to be servicable if they're on display.

In other news, cool wallpaper. 馃槑

I don't think the Tudor was ever intended to run - see the time setting

Very cool!!!

Yet it is perfectly at 11:05 - go figure. BTW: 10:10 is common but not absolute

From memory the Omega museum has a whole series of these, I'd love to own a couple, the exploded 321 they have (not sure if its lucite or free floating on wires) looks really cool too.
