Hi, this Rolex is for sale at a local online auction. It is currently at $1300, out of my reach. Is it real? I did a cursory search and the only other one like this i could find was in Singapore, the other 6b/346 i find are either JLC or IWC. This one was purchased by a USMC NCO in Hong Kong in 1967. No movement pics.

I'm coming into this quite late, but want to clear up that this watch is indeed genuine, made for the British defense department. That mark on the back is the Broad Arrow, a symbol often used to mark government property. Other watchmakers, including IWC, made similar pieces under military contract. Some IWC versions have the Broad Arrow on the front.

So, you think it's a Rolex ? Was sold as a Rolex. If you spread Lies here, you are not welcome. Time for you to re phrase.

I too have my suspicions. But it has been my experience that, during WWII, Rolex sold a lot of watches in Canada, that were in generic, non-Oyster, Canadian cases. I’d like to see what is IN the case.

I gave you a like simply to reward you for all of the flack you've received for making your first post such unmitigated bullshit.

It’s 100% definitely genuinely a fake . Send it off to Rolex HQ for a service & it will never be seen again .
