Looking for a Rolex Oyster Precision ref. 6426 or 6427 (34mm, manual, no-date, cal. 1210/1225). I've got quite a few Omegas and have been looking to acquire a Rolex for some time, but the price madness is exactly why I'm looking at this simple reference as a Rolex starter. This is something I'll wear as part of a regular rotation.

Probably everyone on this forum knows exactly what I mean here; to expand a bit and be more specific:

  • Dial: linen/textured or grey, original and un-refinished. Silver linen very welcome. No redials, no refinished dials.
  • Interior: Clean and dry, no rust or corrosion, particularly around the caseback seat and threads. Happy to see it serviced by a good independent. I'm hoping to restore this to the point a pressure test will pass as part of a daily wear watch.
  • Case: Sharp, honest geometry. Defined lug edges, a visible bevel, decent between-lug stampings. I'm not expecting NOS and the normal dings, hairlines and honest wear are welcome (I'll be adding my own).

I'll pay properly for a good original dial and a sound case. Happy to be above the usual asking range for the right example, and equally happy to pay a fair market price for a solid honest one. Tell me what you have and what you want for it.

Sight-unseen from a known member is fine with decent photos: straight-down and side-profile lug shots (raking light if you can), a dial macro, and the caseback and movement.

I'm in Singapore and international shipping is not a problem, and I'll cover it.

And if you've got one you're not selling but would let me look at pictures of, I'd appreciate that so I have better mental model when looking at listings.
