Part two is live! https://perpetualwatchlover.com/blo...oject-1-rolex-6564-cal-1030-part-2-case-bezel
Thank you! All the parts on the mechanical part of the work are ordered, hope to get them in by next week! Will definitely update you guys in this thread!
Haha thanks man!! Would you prefer to see it in a video context or do you like to read it? We are planning to do at least one more like these!
Either for me! I can imagine it would take a lot of work and setting up to video everything properly. Just nice close-up photos documenting what you've done and the notes to go with it is probably easier. I'm pretty skilled with my hands, but working on watches is something I'd like to do, but have never done. So seeing how you work through things is really interesting!!!!
Update is live! Thank you for all the support and messages on instagram, means the world! https://perpetualwatchlover.com/blogs/nieuws/restoration-project-1-part-3-dial-cleaned-case-done
I nearly missed the new post!!! Great work on the dial. I've got an early Tudor Oyster Royal in for a service at the moment and that has a few marks on the dial which will hopefully clean up. I can't wait to see how it. It looks like yours is nearly finished now!!!
Great work, it looks amazing and totally different to when you got it. Looking forward to the final write up.
