Hi guys,

This red sub has been up on that auction site for a little while, and to be honest it's way out of my pay grade - but was wanting to learn more about this limited reference. What are your thoughts on it?

Is a worn, but correct bezel ok? - the case looks fat with some original(?) chamfer but well worn none the less - is that desirable? what are you thoughts?

Been chatting to the owner, seems like he has a solid vintage watch collection.

The you tube video is hilarious. He has the watch on the table with the caseback next to it, then he turns it over and tries to move the rotor while the watch is running. Then slams it down again on the rotor...

The insert is shot, the price is ridiculous.
Pictures are no good, looks like there is no tritium on the plots / wash out.. Mk-4 Red dial.
Just serviced but the crystal was not replaced, hard to tell if there are spots on the dial or the crystal has holes..
Case looks beefy from a couple of angles but again pics are not the best..

The whole watch looks very very tired. I wouldn't be proud wearing it. I didn't know who the seller is, but I assume he is asking around 20k? I hope the dust is on the crystal not the dial otherwise it's shot. The lume is less than ideal condition. The insert is kissing 40 but again it's shot. As for the case n crown, I would have to take a closer look. Given the case being so "strong", yet the rest of the parts r "rustic", it should be approached cautiously.

could be nicely restored...I don't think its as bad as the photos make it look. But not worth the price in this condition, and will be costly to restore. The insert is not a kissing 4, but is original. Based on the current condition I would assume any recent "service" done is worthless, so unless he is selling it at 50% off its going to be a money pit.

it looks like this guy takes care of his watches about as well as he takes care of his hands.

after looking at the listing and youtube, it looks like there is a nice dial underneath. but when he flipped the watch over in that video, i kept thinking "dont touch it! dont touch! dohhhhhhh!"
