Another recent (Rolex) thread mentioned numerous Canadian actors... this is one of my favorites - some very sad news here. I absolutely love seeing him on screen.

We've lost some greats recently (I still haven't been able to bring myself to open the Sean Connery thread). So much loss.

Yes, sad news. Always wanted to see him in person at the Stratford Festival, as we go regularly, but have never been able to get to one of his performances. His love of the theatre is well known...we got an email from the festival today...

I'll admit I didn't overly enjoy him personally, but his ability as an actor is without question - may he rest in peace.
