Angelic voice, great musician and a great songwriter. Yes I’ve been crushing on her for decades. Damn, this was a shock.

I always thought she was the only stable and steady member of Fleetwood Mac. Godspeed.

The classic rockers are aging out ... RIP.

Many others in that same age group, McCartney, Jagger, Page, I Anderson, and many more. They worked in the classic era of rock.

She was raised in my neck of the woods. One of the music industry’s greatest songwriters and lyricists.

    She will be missed. R.I.P.

She was super talented and came across really well in a documentary about the band I once saw, actually seen it twice it was that good. Love the music, god bless her.

Upon hearing news of an icon from her era passing on, my mother used to reflect and say out loud to no one in particular, “oh, so-and-so died..”; it never registered much then. Now I understand this with perfect clarity: she recognized her own mortality.

Most recently, Charlie Watts really hit that home for me. As did Keith Emerson. And David Bowie. Loretta Lynn last month. And of course, Neil Peart in 2020.

    And now Chris McVie. Wow.

And so it begins in earnest, I’m afraid, for those icons of my era who are passing not from Moon/Bonham/Entwistle excess, but older age. (I’m not quite two decades behind 79).

I was never the biggest Fleetwood Mac fan, but her voice and compositions were terrific. RIP.

Keep going Pete, Roger, Mick, Keith. Geddy, Alex, Paul, Jimmy, Ian…and yes, you, too John Lydon.

@mydeafcat ….To quote Spinal Tap (Graceland Scene) “To much f…ng perspective” … one must say to ones self “Carpe Diem”. Yes perfect clarity. She’s a respected contemporary.
