Thanks to Tommy Taylor... 馃憤 Hopefully it will be on my wrist in a few days.

Some before shots:

From previous owner

After a quick crystal polish

SN dates to 1938

And off to Tommy...

Dial/hands look pristine!

Chronometer movement a bit dirty, with a broken balance staff

Afterwards: new crystal, crown, movement overhauled with new staff, timing washers, mainspring, and a few NOS screws...

Holy crap! Lesson #17 learned from the forum: scratched crystals can hide beautiful dials.

Wow that's beautiful! Sometimes just a simple crystal polish and case bath is all you need... 馃榾

It really did need a new crystal though; it was cracked and discolored. But I just wanted to see the dial! 馃槈

Very nice!
Tommy's the best.
He's helped me out more times than
I can count. And let's face it, who the heck else
is gonna work on these things. 馃榾

Looks fantastic with that bracelet too! What's the lug width?
