I have an Omega Constellation Ref. 168.004. I need a replacement gold bezel. Part number is 082ST168004. Where can I find one?

The watch was sent to Omega and they said they cannot source or manufacture this part.

I've tried searching online (ebay etc) and posting on other forums with no joy. I've attached photos of how the watch currently looks, and how it looked when it was originally serviced by Omega before I lost the bezel.

Please help me find this part. Alternatively, is there a way I can find the exact dimensions so I can try have it manufactured?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome @psiddle

Commiserations on losing your bezel ( how did that happen. ?)

Bezels are generally unobtainable unless you were to buy another gold capped watch and salvage the bezel from that. (Even then you might not guarantee an exact fit if the case manufacturers were different. )

I think some members have had gold bezels manufactured in 14k gold by jewellers but ideally you would need a template to copy and it certainly wouldn’t be cheap.
(A really good jeweller might be able to copy and fit a near-enough facsimile bezel from your photo. )

You would need to decide on the drivers for having a bezel made as the cost may be worth more than the value of the watch.

I believe it came off during a night out. Noticed it looked odd, and the part was no where to be seen. The watch has huge sentimental value which is why I'm so determined to get it fixed. Thanks for the advice.

This is not a very expensive watch, cheapest option is to buy the same example, get its bezel (and in your case, the crystal too), auction the donor transparently

For the manufacturing route, you already have the dimensions on your watch, the mounting dimensions matter, rest can be polished to taste - goldsmiths should be able to do it with the watch in hand and the photo for rough reference of the outer shape, definitely more expensive than the first option

That's very unfortunate but the sentimentality alone is worth the bother of trying to replace the bezel.

I found a couple of previous threads on replacement bezels (as recent as 2021) with a watchmaker suggesting bezels might be available from Omega.

On the off-chance that your watch didn't really make it to Omega (there has been occasions where this has happened) I'll page @Archer to see if he could look on the Omega intranet for you.

Alternatively, I found this thread with a recommendation for a case repairer -they are in the US but if that's what it takes....
