    The "white" is is more likely silver gilt which would be correct.

    35mm is not an oversize watch in my book.

    Agreed, not oversize. But I was not fooled by that. To his credit, the seller mentioned the size in mm.
    But what you're really saying is that I payed for an oversize, aren't you? ;)

    depends. Panerai has 47mm watch. But I think you are right, Omega vintage watch 38mm+ should consider oversize IMO.
