Yep, that's a Chronostop style buckle. My Dynamic came on one originally too.

Nice sharp cased constellation... High starting price but worth keeping an eye on.

Looks like the rotor has been rubbing the case back.

You're developing an eye like a veteran.

The watch still should sell for near the starting price.

My gaud, so it has! I didn't spot that. I'm sure with a service you could correct that.

Isn't that a common problem with the 5xx series?

The early 500 - yes. Less so with each progressive caliber.

If it's anything like 501 Levis, I'll be damned if I can get them to fit! :p

Edit: you can't deny that tomato slicer!

Ben, This watch is poorly photographed, has issues with the dial, is overly polished, wrong crown. Are you recommending that someone buy it?

...enter the expert! More sharing a find really, as it seems to be complete with the original documents, not overpriced (from what I've seen in the 12 or so months I've been looking and reflecting the fact it's not perfect as you point out) and possibly a good starting point for someone...?

Your sarcasm not withstanding, yes it might make a good beginning piece, as with its provenance and modest price for a European purchaser. I would still recommend passing for a later better find.
