It is a crisp watch... but don´t you think the price is a bit too high considering the aged dial and wrong crown?

did the early ones not have "swiss made" printed at the bottom ?

Many times the printing is hidden on these dials. You really need to examine in person. The printing is comparatively small.

Take care,

It's at 2700 pounds/3290 Euros with 2hr 40 to go, I can't see it going much higher. My bets on 2850 pounds max.

2917 quid 😀

I think that's a good price for a watch in very good shape.

Another interesting Constellation:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scarce-Men-...n-Rare-Crosshair-Dial-Serviced-/161216078338?

I puchased my Globemaster from this seller a few years ago. They sell nice condition items, but tend to overpolish for the "Ooooh, shiny" market.

The question is whether this is a cal. 352 or 354 movement. No mention in the listing. Probably a cal. 354, but if you ask for a photo they should give you one

Also, they do negotiate on occasion.

I show the listing as removed, but the seller made a counter offer to me of $295. I didn't accept, but was one of 4 offers made. Maybe he figures one of the offering eBay members will take him up on his counter so he pulled the listing?

Oops, nevermind - looks like he declined me.
