This guy got insta-relisted! That always makes me suspicious that we're dealing with 'self bidding' when the relist happens so quickly. Final price was $1034.

Been seeing this quite a lot on eBay too recently where I've missed out on something to a single last second bid only for it to be instantly relisted which seems super sus.

Ebay has a relist feature. If it doesn't sell, which can include meeting reserve, instanty relisted.

It didn't have a reserve or anything like that. "insta-relisted" was a 'human timeframe' i think, but definitely quick enough that unless the buyer immediately said "oops, sorry, I don't want it!" with little/no negotiation, something funky is going on. I suspect there is a little bit of 'manual reserve' happening (getting someone else to bid it up to a 'reserve' price, then just relisting if they weren't outbid).

4 days left, price already heading a bit high, it鈥檚 14k and has been polished with a non deluxe dial so important to not get carried away though it looks nice in the photos

Polished, but it has quite a nice dial. Worse examples have been selling for mid 3's, I wouldn't be surprised if this goes over 4k.
