This 14k gold dogleg goes off tomorrow

Sold for just short of $3300 (plus $145 postage)
It was a nice enough watch but not pristine by any means - so quite a strong price IMHO.

But if that’s the market….(or possibly the gold price…)

🇬🇧 Seamaster Cal 752 Sparkle dial going no reserve in the UK

The orange spot and black spot are on the crystal as explained here:

The crystal is properly cracked though so I would expect some of it to have chipped off inside and cause some damage.
The movement is also likely to have had some damage from such a big impact
Day wheel looks like it has issues for example

Yea it’ll need a service but that’s the same for anything you pull off eBay, it’s plexiglass rather than sapphire though and the condition of the case, dial and bracelet make it well worth it

Too bad it is in the UK. I have a good sparkle dial and movement.

Yeah, if it was in the US I'd have jumped on that, it looks like an awesome project with a lot of upside.

I'm going to keep an eye on it as I'm in the UK, but expecting to pay extra repair costs on top of a normal service

Clean, service, new crystal, twist-o-flex in the trash, and she'll be very pretty

PS I am sorry to our Europeans I'm trying to post more EU and UK watches but so much good stuff is in the US right now
