Not sure the hands are correct on this one?
So this orange hand variant often has a different hand type from normal 166.028 with square tips and there's a period ad from the 1960s that shows them on an example of an orange hand in this thread with further discussion. It's an interesting topic I really should write about at some point

I came across a photo the other night of Seamaster that sent me down the rabbit hole and of course I've come out the other side with a new grail watch, hahaha so it goes. For now though...

Great example! Strong case chamfers, excellent dial, and those might be the best condition of hands, with what looks to be original lume, I’ve seen in a while.

Couple observations notes; crystal is not an original omega crystal and crown looks to be a replacement as it appears quite small compared to the case attenuation for the crown inset.

Indeed, even the finishing on the bezel is very much intact, I think these are a really cool alternative to the sparkle chronometer with a bit more flair, I'm just glad they don't carry the same orange hand premium that the Speedmasters do!
