It might still be ok, I have someone who can service it for a very good rate. And I polished my first acrylic crystal, came out well.

Pretty sure the existing crystal on that one is toast, so you'll need a new one. They're easy to find, though. Just make sure it's an authentic Omega crystal with the stepped tension ring. Generic ones have flat tension rings that can damage the dial. Speaking of which, I'd confirm your local someone is competent. E.g. crystal installation needs to be done with the movement removed and the caseback off; otherwise it's easy to deform the medallion.

I agree with @dsio though; it will be cool watch once it's cleaned up. I had considered bidding on it myself and servicing it for my daughter, but I'll defer.

Thank you for the added info. My watchmaker is very good fortunately, he’s been doing it for 20 years and regularly works on Omegas, Rolex, others. Please don’t avoid bidding on it because of me, there are always other watches coming up for sale, I don’t want anyone to lose out just because I’m bidding.
