I think it's a redial.
It seemed fine to me - slightly patinated, the font is correct, the star is pointing in between the "e" and "ll" in Constellation.
But maybe I am wrong - what made you think it is a redial?

The unevenness in the weighting of "Automatic Chronometer" is what bothered me, but it could be an effect of the image. I could be wrong, and if so someone got a good deal at $798.

Constellation C-Case with aftermarket displayback included, wrong crown and polished case but sharp bezel and nice dial make it attractive on the wrist still
