So this is a Lemania not an Omega, but it’s a Lemania version of a watch that is also made as a basically identical Omega Regatta timer that is quite uncommon so cool to see it going no reserve

This is actually kind of cool, a Cal 1012 Geneve in steel going no reserve… but the case-back engraving is Bathurst 1000 1977 Allan Moffat Racing.

Allan Moffat is a Canadian born Australian racing driver, and he did indeed win the famous Bathurst 1000 in 1977, so being in Canada it might have been someone he knew from there it was given to.
