Not sure if it's any red flag but there's still an active listing for the same watch with BIN of EUR 3.890, maybe the seller is waiting for the buyer to make payment on the other listing before deleting this one?
Perhaps you linked the wrong listing but these are different watches.

Speedmaster Mark II Cal 861 going no reserve

https://www.ebay.com/itm/305781530801

It's hard to pinpoint on this one's movement its age because the serial # is edited out, but please be aware that it has a delrin brake and not a metal one as you'd expect. I've asked for the first two digits of the serial number and will report back if I hear anything. Watch does look

The derlin brake was introduced in the early 70’s, which the mkii was produced through. I don’t see anything wrong with the derlin brake as it just dates this piece to at minimum the early 70’s. The seller just incorrectly broadly dated this to the 60’s-70’s, which happens all the time.

So this one I expect in the 2500-3500 range given the OM dial and sharp case but the photos are very rough annoyingly

8 hours left on this one
Weirdly, this ships to everywhere in the civilized world (US, Germany, Ireland, whatever) - except for the UK. Don't know what that says.

The seller is in Massachusetts, home of the Boston Tea Party. He probably still holds it against you and the rest of the redcoats

Although ironically their catch phrase was no taxation without representation, and you’ll be paying 20% tax on it if you did get him to ship it

Thanks for the feedback -- I just wanted to call attention to it and didn't go as far as to say it was an incorrect/later movement. Just something to be aware of and I'd expect the serial number to be in the late 32XXXXXX at least. Hopefully we get a movement number which will put all this to rest.

Just to follow up on this: heard back from the seller that the serial number is 30992166. I'd expect a metal brake at that serial, however, it may have been misread ('6' or '8' might be confused as a '0') and the serial could be 36992166 or 38992166. I thought I was helping, haha 🙃

Seamaster De Ville With Rough Dial… But It’s a KLEERBACK with factory hesalite case-back integrated into it. It’s also going cheap, I’d consider buying this then finding a better De Ville to do a dial swap on, and selling the rough dial off in that De Ville to make a nice Kleerback given how uncommon these are.

Goes off in 40 mins and I wrote about these here: https://stories.omegaforums.net/seamaster-deville-kleerback-kl-6292-vb/
