··Ash @ ΩFI was looking at that piece as well. I thought it was odd to see a pie pan dial in an oversized hidden crown case. Didnt those only come in the domed dial variety?

A AdrianTHello all,
I found this deal with an Omega Broad arrow but this model is unfamiliar. I see the case lettering indicates Omega Speedmaster, is there something fishy based on the pics attached?
honeymoon with OMEGA honeycamp 1957 😁
Any concerns?

Constellation 168.018 Cal 564 semi-hidden crown in decent shape, going no reserve, these tend to sell quite a bit cheaper than most piepans and are rather good daily wear pieces

Hello guys, I’m the proud owner of a ref. 2279 cal. 321 and since I received it as a gift I immediately fell in love with vintage Omega watches, to the point I started watching and studying models and market in general.
From my little experience I came to the following conclusion: I’ve been watching pie pan constellation watches and vintage seamaster models as references. I’ve noticed that often eBay bids close higher than the actual Chrono 24 price for similar models/year combination taken into account, as well as the overall general condition/service.
I still have a long road to go, but I was wondering if it is a good option going for something that often result higher in price through eBay with respect to something equally good on chrono, where’s the catch? Getting something you like for a lower price than the market one when you’re lucky to get that bidding ?
Thanks in advance for your precious answer, don’t punch the newbie in me please
Gold-capped Constellation 168.004 in nice sharp condition going no reserve tomorrow, it’s not 14k solid as the ad states, but stil very nice

Very early Seamaster 166.003 Cal 562 in steel with a really nice sharp case with great facets, these are some of the most attractive 60’s Seamaster cases imo going no reserve, seller is open to offers but the condition does justify the opening bid imo.
