Going off in 1 hour, this is another UK market 9KT gold Cal 600 hand wound piece, not in the same condition as the previous one but a nice semi-ultra thin case with a solid movement in gold

Hello ! Is that a different dial of this specific reference ?

If so, crown would be replacement on the auctioned one right ? Still learning thanks to all of you !

Yea it’s not an Omega signed crown and there are typically a variety of dials per reference in this era

I wouldn’t go crazy with it, 700-800 is about as high as I’d go as it’s only a 9kt case. Cal 600 is a great movement though

Went for $1550 in the end, very strong price indeed

Can't believe it went that high. Was interested in it up to £1k but quickly went over yesterday. Shame, I liked all the documentation that went with it and the engraving and it being in the UK. But I didn't like it that much!

Really attractive Seamaster De Ville with the two-tone textured blue dial in a 14k solid gold case, great watch and won’t go cheap but among the best of De Villes

Ash's seal of approval is pushing up prices.

Plenty still go really low, I think it’s just a combination of being a really nice full set with great condition and being in the UK where prices are often higher. If you’re going to overpay, at least make sure it’s for a really nice example. There are people that pay more than this for a redialed and polished beyond belief piepan who get upset when people here point out the watch they purchased is junk.

This one goes in 3 hours and is on the cheaper end of the scale, gold plated 37mm Geneve Cal 1022 Day-date in nice shape for the head though the bracelet is rougher. I’d try to get it in the 400-500 range, very cool funky C3PO looking piece

Who up here beats me by $10 to this? :whipped:

Not me but think that is a good buy for a linen dial.

That Seamaster script looks a little funky to me?
It is funky but it’s correctly funky for these Tiffany De Villes, there are a lot of them around including some factory diamond versions, all with about three different fonts on the one dial IMG_8486.jpeg IMG_8537.jpeg IMG_8538.jpeg IMG_8539.jpeg

Incidentally both this one above and this two tone De Ville are among Norman Morris’s special models. I think most of my favorite De Villes from that era are actually these US market models.

Bad photos but you can see it’s a nice sharp watch if you go through the photos and zoom in, Seamaster Sparkle Day Date Cal 752 in steel going off today, currently only $330
