Decent looking C shape Connie with less than a day to go - very quick sale and no bids yet. Seller wants payment within the hour of ending all of which may keep the price down.

Interesting, but the seller says, I’m sure in error, that the diameter is 40mm excluding the crown so I’ve asked for clarification and better movement photos.

The 40mm made me chuckle. Also, I noticed there is no text about the adjustment of the movement like my 564 has. I’m guessing it’s a 561 and maybe those were unadjusted? Just curious. Looks pretty decent though.

Well, it’s being sold, specifically, as a 564 and someone has taken that arty shot of the movement.

Note: No inquiries made in breach of the thread rule, just commenting on the post 😉

No. Cal. 561 is the same as 564, except without the pull-push calendar feature. All chronometer adjusted.

Bridge was replaced in this watch with one from a cal. 562 or similar.

I would stay away from this seller. Seems a bit unreasonable to me.

It did cross my mind that the movement shot was somewhat unhelpful.

They’re a nice piece with that dial and the condition is quite good, Cal 565 too which is great, enjoy mate

Another good De Ville, looks a bit rough in photos but it will clean up well being 14K solid gold with a nice dial, IBM presentation caseback engraving which is kind of cool too
