Went for $800, too rich for my blood. Nice watch, though. Guessing someone on here got it.
Might have been a deal after all. All other examples on eBay priced well north of $1k.

It definitely went too high to be reasonable, probably shilled. For Gold sure but not plate at that price.

Decent looking Cal 550/552 De Ville non-date in gold-filled case with engraving, quite good shape overall, goes off in 2 hours and currently only $310

Decent Cal 601 Geneve in gold plate with a very good case, don’t overpay as these are very cheap entry level watches but one of the nicer gold plated examples in a while.

This C-Case goes off later today, still quite cheap thus far at only $500

Listing claims all original but I can't quite make the etched Omega on the crystal. Anyone sees it?

Quite nice and sharp C-Case Constellation Cal 751 in gold-cap with a very clean bezel and dial. Definitely one of the nicer gold cap examples we’ve seen listed in a while.

I am a new member and the one who purchased the watch. Many thanks for the tip and for flagging possible issues, albeit even if the Cristal is not the original one I still think that the final cost was a reasonable one (keeping fingers crossed on Vat and custom duties)

I hope to share some pictures when the watch will be delivered

p.s. are you going to kill me if I say that I am planning to replace that bracelet with a strap?

Welcome and congrats, even though listing said original omega bracelet it may not be original to this watch, the original bracelet likely had fitted end pieces. So go for the strap by all means

Thanks, that was also my impression when I saw the pictures (leaving aside that I am not a fan of bracelets!)

That bracelet I would replace too, it’s a decent pickup for that price as a head only watch. It’ll need cleaning and service but should come up quite well

The seller mentions that the dial might be a replacement, and indeed it is - this doesn’t belong in a 2652. Just thought this should be emphasized before someone here things they might get a bargain. Frankly, this does only make sense to me if you have a a nice 2652 dial (and the right hands) sitting around somewhere. If you do, the case does look indeed nice and I’m crossing my fingers for you the movement is correct.
Indeed and would that means that it probably is a full rotor movement also since a bumper one wont fit that later dial?

Also interesting this seems to be another 2652 (if there is actually a 2652, how do we know?) with no lugholes which I started a thread about a while ago:

I agree. The listing says that it was serviced…but reading your comment I assume that it was a “eBay service” as I read on some previous message!

Probably a Dunk’n’swish but who knows, I’d get someone good to look at it, there’s clearly still dirt and muck in the bezel and various other areas.
