That wasn’t bad for 470 including the bracelet and correct endlinks
Thank you Ash! I was watching that one, but just couldn't after just spending money on the chronostop you pointed to. Not sure if I like this thread or not. ;-)

Anything sticks out to you? I was told to avoid vintages from South America all together.

There are a lot of good people and watches in South America, nothing wrong with exercising care but I’ve bought out of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Paraguay with great success in part due to others being too worried to do so.

I see. Thanks. Yes, nothing sticks out to me in that listing too and seller seems to be solid with 100% feedback. Good piece at current price but maybe I'll hold out for a Connie.

I actually ended up snatching up this one for $810 +PP/tax.
I was also a bit concerned about the South America location but the seller offered 30-day return minus return shipping, so seemed like a low-risk gamble - I'll post pictures once I receive it to source the collective brainpower of OF!

Maybe I should also introduce myself 😀
New member who has been lurking for a few months. Bought a near-mint 18k 60'ies Omega dress watch from an established member a few months ago and have been hunting for a more daily-appropriate vintage seamaster, hopefully insert this ebay purchase.
dsio, thanks for pointing to the ebay listings!

This nice Seamaster De Ville sector dial goes off later today, still cheap thus far but these have gone higher due to the desirable dial in the past

Congrats on this one! Almost bid myself just due to the condition and the price. Looks like it will be a great daily wear! Oh, and welcome!
