I did. 😉 Haven't been here long, but trying to learn.
will post pictures after I receive it. Trying to learn that also.
Thank you for giving a heads up.
Great stuff, I always love seeing a new member picking up a good deal on something. When you get it just create a new thread about it for the pictures in the vintage Omega topic, keen to see how it turns out once cleaned up.

We always send @dsio a nice bottle as an appreciative "thank you". I believe Louis XIV cognac is his fave.

Kidding aside, we love seeing a plan come together and Ash works hard making this place special.
When you receive your watch, post some pix (we'll guide you through if need be), pick out an avatar for yourself and increase the credit line on your charges.

Well done, brother (American for "mate").

This one goes off in 5 hours, later model DeVille Calibre 565 in gold-filled case with BoR bracelet, non-luminous variant. Currently at $400

I love this just for the bracelet. I just grabbed a solid 14k DeVille from my local watch guy who calls now when he gets vintage Omegas now or I would be all over this for that alone. Super sexy model.

Another DeVille C-Case, Cal 752 166.053. These are similar to the Seamaster C-Case models you see a lot and wear a bit bigger than a Constellation C-Case. Nobody buys them so they tend to stay fairly cheap for a Cal 752.

This one’s going off in 9 hours, still only $170 so far, would look amazing once put on the correct bracelet

How much would you look to bid up to?
I’d be looking to get it under $450 if I could

This really nice Constellation is going off in 13 hours in the UK, currently 530 quid but I won’t expect it to stay that cheap as its a sweet one.

There’s a mark on the case at 7 o’clock, is that dirty or something more serious?

Gosh guys, Ash works his tail off finding these pieces and valuations are readily available on ebay "sold listings" and the internet.
Go with the value in your heart, set a limit and no bids after the second or third drink!

Went for $202 in the end which is less than you’d pay for a good Calibre 752 movement typically

It’s the
VINTAGE OMEGA CONSTELLATION CHRONOMETER GENTS WATCH.751, 1968
that i’m thinking of bidding on.

I’m pretty sure it’s going to be too rich for me. I am new to the vintage watch market but have had similar interest in bikes and a lot of experience buying and selling on Ebay. The interest in that watch and how the bid is increasing looks like it has a way to go. Probably in the last seconds!
I have seen similar on Ebay, chrono24 and another old auction £800-£1,600. I don’t have enough experience to rate this one against those other examples ‍♀️

Amyway I think by the time I wake up tomorrow it’ll be outside the range of what’s in my heart!

@UncleBuckno bids after the second or third drink!” Heh that’s a Friday night problem I suffer from. 11am Wednesday morning should be safe

Hey, some of my best bidding occurs after 3+ drinks… best for me or the seller has yet to be determined.

Welcome and good luck, just keep in mind because its in the UK already it might go for a bit of a premium just due to the fact that Brexit has left the UK on its own little tax island where anything coming in gets hit with heavy duty, so accordingly the prices for watches already there are priced up similarly.

If you don’t get it there will be more for sure, so stick around and keep an eye out 👍
