This user farkasvirag on Reddit has some nice watches for value. My favourite would be this 38mm Doxa Antimagnetique priced at $299. Note, I can't tell by the pictures exactly, but the the seconds hand looks a bit shorter than it should be.

This is lovely, 18k case and dial, Calibre 751, small idiot mark on the back but overall a really nice watch and very sharp for a gold case including the caseback medallion

Good luck mate yes the photos make it look very ordinary but it’s a very nice piece, original yellow gasket with clean movement and case, dirty crystal and grime in all the right places for a watch that’s sat in a drawer, I’d love to see it when it’s cleaned up, it’ll be near perfect

Hope someone got this one for $663 that ain’t bad at all. Through all of Feb and early March there was so much sub-par junk or overpriced listings but all of a sudden there’s good stuff going no reserve again.

This one will likely go cheap since it looks awful but I actually think there’s a nice watch under there, it is a 0 feedback seller so caution should be taken but I think after a replacement crystal you’re likely to find the dial and hands are actually quite nice and the case is nearly perfect. Box and papers too which is nice.

Probably a lucky escape.

$500 takes a risky watch from a bit of a punt, factoring a service and parts, to a fair old money-pit investment, especially when you consider that you can get a nice looking 168017 from Japan for around $800-900.

Might have been a better deal if it still had the original bracelet.
