Hey everyone, first post.

Sorry I didn't win this watch. Was hoping to make it my first vintage Omega.

I have the winning bid on a Geneve (1973) with integrated bracelet. Looks real clean, recently serviced, and all original (supposedly). No kit with it, but the entire bracelet is there. Bid is still low and it ends on Sunday, so we'll see. I really like the look on this watch - it is timeless. Looks like it could have been made any time between 1960 and now. Even reminds me of Grand Seiko design language (I love GS). If I win it will become my new every day watch.

This is an Albatross, very unusual but also one of the cooler pieces of Omega’s history, nice condition and running too which is a positive. I rarely recommend quartz pieces but… the Albatross is an exception

3 hours left on the Albatross, still a good deal atm for what it is, even if it may seem like a lot for Quartz

Do you really think that's a good deal? I don't know an awful lot about these, but a full set sold for less around these parts recently.

Initially it was sitting at a more reasonable price, I see its now relisted so I suspect it may have been shilled then cancelled which is unfortunate, they’re cool watches if obtained in good running order at a reasonable price and hold a really special place in Omega’s mad 70s history

I'm confused. Are you recommending this or critiquing it?
Both. I am not sure if I spotted a normal variation of an original dial (in which case the watch is highly desirable) or if I am showing a redial (in which case my post should be deleted).

The forum has a long history of admiration for Gold Connies. See threads titled “The night of the Connie gold”, etc
Unfortunately many of the photos were not copied from eBay and were not saved.

There was 2943 deluxe with stepped dial on ebay but it disappeared quickly
