This sold for a Best Offer - does anyone know the price of achieved? Must have been in excess of the $2,000 opening price. On the lookout for a nice one of these for some time.
Maybe it’s hidden(?) but I can’t see that best offer was accepted. From what I can see, it looks like the auction completed.

Strange, when I check the listing the amount is $0 in that one bid; Screenshot_20231225-230826.png

That is odd. Sometimes I can see when a best offer is accepted and sometimes I can’t. Im not entirely sure what’s going on this time.

Thanks for investigating - the pic below is an image of what is visible when you search the seller’s ended items. It was a best offer over the opening price of $2,000 (excuse the £ - I viewed through .co.uk):

This Speedmaster Professional Moonphase Cal 1866 goes off in 2 hours and the opening bid is quite a good deal, it’s the later 2000’s variant similar to the sapphire sandwich with decorated movement and displayback, quite uncommon and cool, ref 3576.50, has box and papers too

I think this one should be avoided. I own this model and love it. The hands and dial doesn't look right to me. There should be chrome rings around the subdial but this dial is missing them (see the gaps on the outer ring of the subdials). The hands are also dirty, which isn't acceptable for a 2000s watch.

The rings are there, they reflect varying amounts depending on the angle but you can see them more clearly in the third photo of the listing
