This one is interesting. The dial is very nice, and although I'm not sure about the hands, some Polerouter did come with dauphine hands with lume on it. Although I can't see why this one would since it doesn't have any lume dots on the dial. Unfortunately, with UG you never know. The watch contains the earliest version of the 215 caliber, as can be seen by the "Patent Rights Pending" indication on under the rotor. This makes it just a little bit rarer. It might have had the logo polished off the back, but I think that this one didn't have it considering the early version of the 215. The gold plated versions are not for everybody, but I have no problem with it and it usually means fewer people are interested. I would be bidding on it if I wasn't unemployed starting tomorrow (thesis contract ends but the defence isn't planned until September). It's all about choices.

EDIT: CORRESPONDANCE FROM OTHER FORUM MEMBERS HAVE IDENTIFIED IMPORTANT ISSUES WITH THIS WATCH RENDERING IT NO LONGER SUITABLE FOR RECOMMENDATION. SORRY! SEE BELOW FOR INFORMATION

I have some reservations about this since I don't have enough knowledge to be 100% sure that it's good. Obviously, the crown has been replaced. What is keeping me back is the missing lume on the inner bezel. Yes, it's been polished but still find it appealing.

EDIT: the second hand has also been replaced

It started out at 1500 Euros, but the seller said he would accept 1200 euros. Now he has lowered it to a direct by at 1100 Euros.

This has been around forever, saw it when the seller first listed it a while back. It's a put together watch, the broad arrow hands not matching the outter ring is the biggest give away from miles away.

I wasn't sure about that. So the broad arrow Polerouters all had inner bezel lume?

It still doesn't make much sense to me.

If you have access to such rare broad arrow hands, why not wait for a better case with proper crown and a proper seconds hand. That's what I would do! Bumper Polerouters are not hard to find and the same goes for the crown and seconds hand. I mean if you're going to sell a franken watch might as well have it look good.
