18K solid gold Speedmaster Chronoscope hand-wind chronograph, definitely not something you see going no reserve on eBay very often but the seller does have recent history of selling expensive watches with good feedback.

These are quite an interesting thing, the De Ville X2 is a modern take on many of the vintage square case models of old, but unlike those vintage models this one doesn’t have the moisture intrusion issues and damaged dial. Powered by an automatic co-axial movement.

I’ll be writing about these soon as they’re quite an interesting piece.

I've had quite a few of these in SS that we got in package deals and the watches look cool but are so bulky and heavy that they are uncomfortable to wear for the most part. We were usually lucky to break even when selling them off. The last one we had I sold to Alan and Michelle at the Chelsea Market this past spring for $2200. $200 less than what we had into it. Now we avoid them like the plague. 😁
