This is something you don't see everyday...

Dead Link/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/264409491408

That’s really pushing the definition of “modern” 😁

Seems cheap for a FOIS. eBay authentication program should be a benefit.

edit: seller seems to have upped the asking price ($3k to $3.3k), but added the option to make an offer.
Offered $3.2K and got accepted. The thing is, I forgot eBay now charges sales taxes. So I had to pay about 10% CA sales tax, that sucks... At $3.2K it's a great deal, at $3.5K it is only an good/ok deal I think.

I would recommend the planet ocean, here is a picture of mine. They go for around 4k now.

This thread is for posting links to Ebay with recommended auctions/sales.

(as per the OP on the first page)
Same rules as the one in the vintage watch section - just to link to watches on ebay .

Not Omega (yet!) but watch and eBay related. There's a seller selling a couple of A6 sized prints of Rolexes for actual watch Rolex prices on the Bay. So, like $4000+ and hundreds of dollars for shipping. For a postcard sized photo (he's deliberately obfuscating the fact that they're not watches)

Bidders identities protected - hopefully it was just the shills bidding

A BUNCH of people on WUS complained to eBay about that guy, with no results. One guy said he'd put a high bid in so that he could prevent anyone from winning and getting ripped off. But it looks like eBay eventually listened. All of those auctions were killed. It was probably a hacked ebay account anyway.

This is one of my favorite lesser known modern Omegas, the De Ville Prestige Calibre 861. Same hand-wound movement as a Speedmaster Pro moonwatch but in a more dress watch size and quite thin, the bracelet on these is also quite comfortable and reminiscent of the old BOR in style. For the money its a great way into an Omega chronograph with a highly respected movement

I like the one fifth second timing and the 30 minute total. I don't think buying and shipping from Japan appeals too much. The watch will obviously need overdue service.

That's really nice, and Closer is a good seller. I'd seriously consider it except the stated "wrist size" is 6.1 inches, and I doubt that links for that beautiful bracelet are readily available.
