I really like these, but this example looks rather scruffy. And, according to the description, “The watch unfortunately does not seem to currently operate.” So a trip back to Omega would seem mandatory.

Seamaster Aqua Terra Ryder Cup Edition going no reserve in 1 hour, I believe this is related to the sport of golf which is why I know nothing about it

Speedmaster Date in steel going no reserve, these are a rock solid long term option, derived from the ETA 7750, accurate, dependable, easy to service, I always recommend them as a good first Omega chronograph option

An uncommon monster, 18K solid gold Seamaster Aqua Terra Chronograph on bracelet going no reserve

Seller looks to be fine (100% over 600 reviews), but for what it’s worth he’s listed the reference number incorrectly—for the steel version. I’d want quite a bit more info and close ups of the movement before buying this. (I kinda recall that there was indeed a variant like this in all gold, but I’m having the darndest time finding that online now.)

Also, take this from a former owner of a solid gold aqua terra on bracelet: they are extremely rare and very fun to wear, as they are MASSIVE, but rare and heavy doesn’t equate to valuable. 30 to 50% of retail is likely the most you will ever be able to sell this off for and most preowned dealers won’t even make an offer, as they’re so hard to sell. Meaning, the current (opening) bid is already about as high as anyone should consider going, assuming this piece is authentic. (Just a friendly note of caution.)

I agree … pretty poor description and listing for a $20k-ish piece.
