[...

is that rotor wear on the right side of pic (rotor scraping?), or just reflection on the photo?

It looks like light reflections to me. Inside the caseback of course would tell you more

Apparently I've been posting while sleep walking...and it seems I reached out and made an offer on the Jules Jurgensen hyper-funky '70's piece...

Stay tuned! Let's see how Thursday progresses!

COFFEE, YES, ANOTHER PLEASE!!!!
Awesome! Let’s hope he goes for it. These rotors have a machined finish, looks like a reflection. If you do get it, I hope to see it in the under the influence thread.

Lovely 1957 Eternamatic Centenaire with gold capped case (love the two-tone gold cap). Seller says serviced last year, measures 34.5 which is a great size for this form factor (seller doesn’t says with or without crown- would be worth the ask). Dial has slight pantina but is very attractive, case looks great and very sharp. Has make offer which could bring it down to reasonable. If this were an Omega it would be twice the price.

Eternamatic 1000 in gold plated case. Listing pic of the dial makes it hard to discern color due to his color balance being off.
I am assuming it’s warm silver but not salmon- did a little iPhone color tweak using the date wheel as the white reference

Price is great and has make offer.

Classic and clean stainless Croton. Dial, lume and case look great. A little funky stuff on the back- not sure what that is. 34mm so nice size, about as simple and strait forward as they come.

If you missed out on this example (which sold for $295 just two weeks ago) then here's your chance at another mid-mod tuxedo dial...starting bid is a reasonable $125:

The crown is wrong, and there's some fuzz on or under the crystal, but the gold plate looks intact. Ask for more pictures if you're interested, especially the lugs where the plate tends to wear off the sharp edges.

Super slick stainless benrus with a spiral finish silver dial- I had one like this years ago, my only problem was the silver hands on silver dial made it hard for me to read at a glance (old eyes and contrast). 34mm so a decent size, these are also very slim so quite sleek.

I'm getting that late night need to buy a bargain watch urge, and this Seikomatic looks interesting. Pictures aren't great, but the closeup shows the dial with concentric circles, and the bezel design is reminiscent of a Polerouter. 37mm, recessed crown, crystal could hopefully polish out. I have no interest with the seller, rather, I'm trying hard not to make an offer! So I'm hoping if I share it, someone else will make an offer and grab it for under $148.

Never heads of Nisus, but it’s Swiss made, stainless case, bright yellow lume, silver sunburst dial and that crystal will probably wet- sand beautifully. This could be a diamond in the rough.

Offer still stands!
All good mate. A lovely smart looking watch. Wear and enjoy.
I bought this instead. The tungsten carbide case has to be seen to be believed

I normally don’t bother with chrome plated watches, but the dial is amazing on this piece and the plating is perfect. Royce 33mm with what I can only describe as a parquet dial. Shipping is cost prohibit, but may be nice deal our Australian friends.
