Excuse me, while I kiss this guy, there is a bathroom on the right.

"Wrapped up like a douche and a roller in the night."

I've looked up the actual lyrics a couple times, and still can't hear anything else.

OK, must stop before others chastise extreme thread drift.

I'll issue self punishment.

@simomega that’s a very generous and thoughtful offer. You are most kind but I think you deserve both the plaudits from our fellow contributors here and the watch itself. I didn’t expect my bid to be a winner to be frank and I’m pleased that the seller was of ethical disposition and agreed to the sale though he must have been disappointed with the result. Wear it in good faith and I hope it is as good as it appeared to be. A photograph of said item upon arrival would seem obligatory if posters don’t object.

Thank you very much and for reaffirming my faith in my fellow man.

Mike

@JwRosenthal if I didn't have my Dynamics, I'd be all over that . But I have a shocking number of blue watches both funky and not so funky already😎
Dynamics are playing it safe in comparison to this thing. The bracelet is really where the package comes together.

Now that is a great example- razor sharp!
To those who have a hard time identifying a good one, just note these edges.

Nice looking Elgin from their glory days. I’m normally one for dial patina, but this one is very pretty. Numerals are awesome, case looks to be stainless, and seller says running. These are usually around 32-33mm, that can be slightly larger sometimes. Also has make offer.

I had to unsubscribe from this thread for that very reason, I still dip in but I can’t trust myself enough to follow it...

nope, wrong picture....sorry...

is that rotor wear on the right side of pic (rotor scraping?), or just reflection on the photo?

I like this kind of "funky"....but have a few too many that need some skilled attention at the moment. Not sure if I want to bite...unlike squirrel....wife feeds them, they knock on door, wife feeds them again...Pavlov!

Wait...squirrel....or wife?
Not gonna get me to answer that one!!

Apparently I've been posting while sleep walking...and it seems I reached out and made an offer on the Jules Jurgensen hyper-funky '70's piece...

Stay tuned! Let's see how Thursday progresses!

COFFEE, YES, ANOTHER PLEASE!!!!
