What do you think? Is it worth the fuss and risk? Or live with it and wait for next service (7-10 years) to address issue?

It's up to you to decide if it's worth sending back, but I would not be happy with that if I was the owner of the watch, or the one servicing it...

The 1/2 moon shape should be centered on the digits...

How does the date hand advance on this model? Does it click into place sometime around midnight and stay at that date until the next interval? Or does it gradually move at all times?
Day name is slightly gradual, date number is instant. Both click at the same time.

Aventus was the hand correctly aligned before the service.

Jeeper

Yes it was centered before. But a couple sundial hands were not centered.

Looks good, although a bit to the right. I can live with it, but it's a little disappointing as I was expecting perfection for paying $1k service. Otherwise, communication and speed was A+. I have watch tools and am considering opening caseback and adjusting myself... probably a lot of risk there too

Unless you have prior experience removing a resetting chronograph hands, and have a proper movement holder, hands removers, and hand press, this is a very bad idea...

I have those tools but only messed with cheap watches. Yes, it is a bad idea. Just a thought....

Bad idea, imo. If it bothers you then send it in and have it taken care of. (and hope a speck of dust doesn't get trapped).

Plus if you open and mess with it , the service warranty will be void...

Thanks. Didn't know if the date (number) hand just passed under the numbers gradually so it would only be misaligned for a portion of the day. Seems not to be the case; thanks for the explanation.

Did not mess with it and will not.

I will leave as is and keep as is.

It is perfect enough. Keeping excellent time.

I recommend Nesbits, I'm sure they would have been happy to move the hand .05mm to the right but it's not worth the risk IMO flying it half way across the United States.
