Received Triple Date from Nesbits. Misaligned date pointer?

Sent my 3523.80 to Nesbits for complete service. With the new hands set + round trip shipping + 3 year warranty it came to be about $980. Excellent communication and turnaround time.

Everything is perfect except for the date pointer (red half moon). On whichever date it's pointing, it is a little to the left. In pics below, pointer is a hair to the left.

Is this worth sending back again? About $60 round trip shipping but there is always the risk that the timekeeping might be affected (Currently -1s a day), possibility that the watch might be scratched in shipping/handling, possibility that another one of the 8 hands might be knocked slightly off alignment, possiblity that watch is lost in transit.

What do you think? Is it worth the fuss and risk?
Or live with it and wait for next service (7-10 years) to address issue?

Is it that way on each of the 31 dates? Personally, it wouldn't bother me, it looks very slight to my eyes.

Yes. I went through entire calendar twice. Every date affected.

Can you post one with the date in the double digits?

Sure.

If everything is aligned properly and working well I wouldn't bother with it. It is very slight and there is no chance of you mis-reading the date.

Unfortunately its one of those things that YOU can only decide if you can live with it or not.

Of course. People have varying degrees of tolerance for these sort of things. I'm I'm just getting a general feel of others opinions on this, as I want to know if I'm overthinking it.

Call them and see if they can align the hands, regulate it, and cover postage. The worst that can happen is that they laugh at you then hang up.

No, the worst that can happen is the watch coming back with other issues or scratches by another intervention.

A re-do shouldn't affect timekeeping, but it might affect alignment of other hands. I'd set the watch to 6 o'clock, and see how close the hour hand is to 6 when the minute hand is at 12. If it's good, keep it. If that's off, send it back and get things properly aligned.

That dial is crazy busy!!

I wouldn't let that slight alignment be an issue...

Disagree. The fact it’s a triple date chrono and it’s barely busier then a plain chrono is why I like this model in black with a lack bezel.

Barely busier than a plain Chrono?

Okay!

I'd send it back, that would bug me. I'd also ask that they cover shipping. For $1000 I'd expect those little things to be checked

The fact that you posted this means that it really bugs you. So, even if every response here was not to do anything about it, it would still bug you. So, send it back in and have them fix the alignment on that hand. I think it’s probably a very quick fix (remove then remount hand in correct position).

P.S. It would bug the hell out of me, especially because it wasn't like that when you sent it in originally.

How does the date hand advance on this model? Does it click into place sometime around midnight and stay at that date until the next interval? Or does it gradually move at all times?

Aventus was the hand correctly aligned before the service.
